Different elements of decorative arts appear in this art deco inspired reinterpretation. Freely borrowing from both bourgeois and folk traditions, art deco motifs are transformed by designer techniques into my characteristic visual language.
Most typically, historically recognized cathedral pressed glass beads from the Czech Republic. The ornate copper metallic texture on each side of the montana faceted bead resembles a sparkling bead cap. Excellent quality beads are made by pressing the bead in a steel mold, coating with color, then grinding and polishing each facet to reveal the base. The combination of Montana Blue and Copper is extremely rare and highly desired.
